Zak and Kara’s beautiful Legacy Farms wedding was perfection. I worked with Jenny Lindsey on this wedding and I’m so excited to share these images with you. I’ve been shooting weddings for several years now and every once in a while, I’ll come across one where the bride and groom share a rare kind of love, evident by this spirit of unfiltered joy in the air and the sheer amount of happy tears in each room.
When Zak was a teenager, he wrote a letter to God about his future wife and the person he wanter her to be. He stored that letter in a sealed glass bottle, vowing to leave it, untouched, until his wedding day. Right before their first look, Zak sent a gift to his bride-to-be along with this note in a bottle. As Kara read it aloud, there was no question to anyone in that room that Zak’s letter was describing her exactly. It’s indescribable how it felt to be in that room.
Here’s just a little glimpse of the magic from Zak and Kara’s wedding day!
